Work at ATEK Already Halfway

​HALFWAY! We all woke up at 5:30(ish) and got bundled up in coats and sweaters and socks because it gets COLD here. (Like 2) Then we walked up 2 flights of stairs to join the pastor’s conference for songs and devotions.  After a few songs, we were introduced to the pastors. We were well received. Jacob shared his devotional and testimony, which was very well- spoken.

​After breakfast (which was good) we figured out that we actually had to WORK. So some people did laundry (and overfilled the machine) and some of us did dishes and then we did business. Dave fixed about a thousand electrical issues and hung lights. Jerimiah and I took down a door and varnished it and several doorframes. Kaitlyn and Jacob and Pastor Bill sanded and mudded/plastered several walls and managed to paint one. Chris studied (slept) in preparation for teaching the pastors, and we got lots done for tomorrow’s workload. And now after dinner I am sitting here writing this and a raucous game of Dutch blitz is going on in the background…  All is going well.

    This momma's heart smiled after reading your post Liam. Thank you for sharing some of the fun that happened in the day today... After reading about Kaitlyn and the mice, I was feeling sad and worried (just a tiny bit :)
    So I'm glad to hear all is well today. Hope tomorrow is another productive day of working around Atek and the teaching/preaching is fruitful. Blessings for a good nights rest.
